Mary C. Fitzgerald graduated from the University of Chicago, with honors, in 1987 with a major in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor in 1990 from Cornell Law School, where she graduated cum laude. During law school she served on the Cornell International Law Journal where she was the Lead Articles Editor.

Ms. Fitzgerald is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Western District of New York. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in the insurance defense field. She practices in the areas of motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, and product liability litigation.
